The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Soldiers Group
Since the launch of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a colorful mix of heroes, and a exciting storyline including angels, demons, and dark forces growing in influence within Dol-Makjar.
Note: Key plot points for the third episode of the new season are included.
The Warrior Group Unveiled
Episode 3 concluded with a huge suspense moment and introduced the premier party of heroes who will split off from the primary party to begin their separate journey, apart from the other two tables.
This warrior group includes Teor Pridesire (played by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), the fierce warrior (Whitney), Wicander (Sam), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).
Why Split the Party?
Given an extensive roster, it was obvious from the outset that having everyone at one table would be impossible.
Hence, the first four episodes of the new season serve as an Prelude, weaving together the personal journeys before splitting into three smaller tables: Fighters, Strategists, and Questers.
What Defines the Combat Party
According to the Dungeon Master, the combat-focused party is for participants who prefer a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven narrative style where diplomatic options are scarce.
Upon first impression, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander Halovar might seem out of place, but the events of episode 3 show why these particular heroes are best suited for the combat party.
Motivations for Departure
For one thing, the party knows exactly where to go next after a intense first encounter with the enemy group.
Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose death started the campaign’s events—manipulated the enemy for his own means, breaking into the secret base, assaulting the character, and stealing all the magical artifacts to dispose of.
The traitor then cleared his liabilities and ran away to a secure base in the northern region, above the urban center, with Teor’s brother pursuing him.
Individual Reasons
Additionally, each adventurer has a specific drive to depart the urban setting:
- The rogue, as the close ally and trusted friend, wants retribution.
- The knowledgeable figure is familiar with the northern area and warns that it is a dangerous environment.
- The warrior and Wicander, having defied his family’s wishes to kill Teor and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
- However, their position as key figures in the powerful family could assist the team reach areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
- Moreover, The fighter swore a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his deliverance and will now go with him everywhere.
Wanted and Hunted
Finally, all of them are wanted by the authorities that govern the setting for a variety of reasons, making lingering locally dangerous:
- The rogue and The hero are notorious outlaws.
- The warrior and Wicander turned against the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
- The fighter is targeted for elimination by the family.
This results in them few options but to head to the northern region in quest for the traitor.
Future Episodes
According to the latest episode’s follow-up content, we learn that the warrior group won’t be around next week, leaving the rest of the participants to round up the Explorers and Planners tables.
